My food diary 11/3/2015

This is for my cooking memoir I'd like to look later or to share with my children in the future. Sometimes, I come up with something everyone liked, but forget to cook again. Some of our best memories come with good home cooked meals. I'm hoping this will be my diary/ recipes/ memoirs.

My own version of Fagioli Con Cotiche.  Sauté onion, celery and garlic first. Add bacon and sauté well. Add chicken stock or vegetable broth of your choice. Season with sea salt. Add chopped potatoes, kale, and cannelini beans. Add chopped tomatoes. Don't continue boiling, after its all got to close to the boiling temperature, move the pot to the table/counter and cover it with blanket. Leave it for as long as you want. That's it! Edison likes it, and as he started to eat, he shared his memory of The Tale Of Desperaux. It became our first day of fall meal.

  1. It turned out really good! Eddie thinks this should be the part of family recipe and repeat it again and again. It's getting cold here, so any soup should be stars for the dinner table from now on.
